Paradisus Riviera Cancun All Inclusive Amenities
The majority of amenities, activities, and gratuities at this resort are included in the room rate; guests will not be charged extra for the majority of amenities and activities (scroll up to the All-Inclusive Details section for more information). Inspired by Mayan village design, the 496-suite resort includes interconnected public buildings built around and over a series of lily ponds. At night, the ponds reflect lights, bathing the entire complex in a soft glow. Also in the evenings, the activity/entertainment staff lip-synchs to Broadway, Latino, and pop music, whips through numerous costume changes, and dances energetically while stage lights flash and smoke billows. Afterward, the disco nightclub draws a late-night crowd. Secluded in a corner of the resort's grounds, the European-style spa offers massage, body and facial treatments, hair and nail care, with men's and women's areas, saunas, and Turkish bath (surcharges for all spa products, services, and treatments). The resort includes shops, a full-service business center, and a tour desk. Like all major Riviera Maya hotels, this resort has its own water purification system.

| This was our first time to a "All Inclusive" We were very impressed. The service and the food was spectacular! We will definately come back but with our family! The only thing I found kinda of disturbing was the people that harrase you with the timeshare thing,I know they have nothing to do with the hotel but it would be great if they were not there!

| If you are looking for a relaxing vacation, this is the place to be. The hotel was beautiful and clean. The service was fantastic. If you had a problem or needed something, they would respond within 15 min. and give you a courtesy call to confirm that you received what you needed. There were many restaurants to choose from plus a buffet. The pool is huge with a swim up bar. But you need to get up early to get a chair or even a palapa. Early bird gets the worm. All the workers are very friendly and hospitable. If you're looking to go swimming in the beach, you might want to think twice about this place. There was ALOT of seaweed and plants along the shore and in the water. Unless you don't mind it. But overall, the hotel was great.

| Long waiting for check in (room not ready) Beds very uncomfortable. Very difficult proccess to make reservations for some of the restaurants. I don't see a reason for a "adults only" restaurant in a family hotel. Very little recreational activities. Shopping trip to very cheap places despite the fact that they have very good shopping centers in the area The beach is bad for Caribbean standards. Lots of seaweed

| We upgraded to the Royal Service package and it was excellent. The rooms were beautiful and exceptionally clean. Having room service at an All-Inclusive Hotel was a big benefit, especially for my 13 year old Son. They stock the small refridgerator daily and provide more towels than you could even use. The nightly shows started a bit late for us (we also had an 11 year old) but were worth watching, although the theatre is very hot, should use the air conditioning vs. having the sliding doors on all sides open. Food was fine and plentiful. The adults only French Restaurant was very good, as was the Reef Grille. There isn't too much for the "teenager" age, game room closes at 8:00 pm (too early) but you can rent pay per view movies in the room, which is what they did at night. Mosquitos were bad a few of the nights, so I would bring spray -- not enough to make it unbearable. Typical in high humidity environments.

| Excellent service, friendly staff, good food and drink, beautiful pool and nice kids programs. Just keep in mind that things aren't the same in Mexico as they are in the states, and you will enjoy yourself at this resort. The beds are very hard, but the rooms are clean and well-serviced.

| This Paradisus resort is off the beaten track outside of Cancun. The rooms were spacious and spotless. The service was wonderful. Food was excellent. Even the shows, which I don't usually like, were good. The beach was not the best, but the pool made up for it. I can't wait to return. We went to a Paradisus in Punta Cana in the winter. Both resorts were terrific-I would surely go to a Paradisus again.

| We stayed at the Paradisus with Royal Service (RS) between May 6. A number of things really spoilt it for us and other people we spoke to: 1) Restaurant Reservations: terrible, terrible, terrible! This drove us and everyone else we spoke to a point of frustration that should not be reached on vacation. Everyone was complaining about it. None of the restaurants ever seemed like more than 25% of capacity - it sounds strange, but they obviously had limited numbers and wanted to steer people towards the buffet. RS was not much help getting a reservation. 2) Butler Service: we've had butler service before, so know how it should be. This was not butler service, it was a concierge desk that you could call or visit and who ever was on the desk would help you out. 3) Orientation: there is very little information given regarding how the hotel functions either at check in or in the information in the rooms 4) Child Care: we have a ten month old. Club 4 is meant to be staffed by 2 people. The only days they had two people working there was the Saturday we arrived and the following Friday and Saturday. 5) Food: just OK

| Was a little bit wary about our first big vacation with a 2 and 4 year old boys, but everything worked out amazingly well. The staff members at the hotel were extremely helpful and friendly. The childcare staffers were amazing! The kids had lots to do and tons of fun which meant mom and dad were happy and relaxed. Wouldn't recommend this hotel to couples looking for a quiet adult getaway...majority of people there during our April stay were families on spring break getaways. Great property...hope to return again soon.
