| We have stayed at the Pillar and Post several times, but this was our first stay at the Prince of Wales. The staff was as friendly and helpful as could be. My overall satisfaction was only a 4 because the pool/hot tub facilities were not nearly as nice as the Pillar and Post's. The location - right down town - meant that we didn't have to deal with the parking problem in the village of Niagara-on-the-Lake. This is a definite plus

| The Prince of Wales is elegant and comfortable. The service was good, with staff very helpful. The only flaw was that the fresh fruit promised in the room on arrival did not materialize until the third afternoon. It has a spa, which we did not use, but did enjoy the indoor saltwater pool and jacuzzi. The restaurant is good, although the food is excessively salty. The high tea is wonderful; we had ours at 1:00 and it served as both lunch and dinner!
