This boutique hotel offers a desirable location along the Freedom Trail, one block from the Boston Common, three blocks from Beacon Hill and the State House, and six blocks from the Faneuil Hall Marketplace.

Spire serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner on weekdays, and brunch and dinner on weekends. Its bar is a popular rendezvous come cocktail time. The business center contains a computer with high-speed Internet access (surcharge), a printer, a copier, and a fax machine. Pets are pampered, and the hotel welcomes dogs with their own bowls and beds. On advance notice, the hotel will also arrange daycare, walking, grooming, and massage for dogs. Features
What to expect: Decor is chic and contemporary throughout. Guests can watch the passing crowds on Tremont Street from the comfort of the small, smart lobby lounge. Overhead is an impressive chandelier of four glass globes. This hotel attracts primarily young businesspeople seeking of-the-moment accommodation close to the office towers of downtown Boston.

Amenity highlights: Spire, the on-site restaurant, attracts guests and Bostonians with its creative menu of Mediterranean fare with Asian accents. The bar lures an after-work crowd of young professionals with cocktails such as the Ultra Violet and the Champagne Flirtini. Room service is available around the clock. Complimentary wireless Internet access is provided throughout the hotel.

Insider tip: A visit to the Old Granary Burying Ground across the street gives guests an opportunity to pay respects at the tombs of Paul Revere, Samuel Adams, and John Hancock, as well as the five victims of the Boston Massacre, including Crispus Attucks, the fugitive slave and seaman, who was the first to die in the American Revolution.

Spire Restaurant & Bar - Mediterranean menu with New England and Asian accents. Dinner menu may include Line-Caught Chatham Halibut, Maine Diver Scallops, and, for dessert, Warm Cinnamon-Sugar Beignets. Handsome decor incorporating dark woods, shimmering glass, large picture windows. Well-spaced tables and booths provide privacy; private dining available by prior arrangement. Breakfast, lunch, dinner weekdays; brunch and dinner weekends.

Excellent service. Excellent location on the Freedom Trail near Fanieul Hall and Boston Common. Nice modern touch to the hotel. Its a boutique hotel, so the non-suites are going to be small.

I am not suprised that this hotel losing money due the extraordinary hotels in this saturated market; this hotel in tring to make and make ends meet charge for every little thing, to play a game on the installed nitendo system it was ca. $6 per hour; I left my laptop at home and just wanted to check my email briefly; I had to use my credit card and pay $2 a min to access the internet: the service was quite good and the staff were hospitable, other than the above it was acceptable; just dont eat in the restaurant (terrible food) go to no. 9 around the corner, much better.

This hotel is perfectly located across from Boston Commons. Easy walk to most major sites. Hotel staff was extremely kind and helpful. Restaurant and room service had excellent food, but quite expensive. Very comfortable room with nice beds and linens. Would highly recommend!

Couldn't ask for better service or a more comfortable room. All our requests were responded to with courteous promptness. We wouldn't stay anywhere else when in Boston.

We stayed at this hotel during a family vacation to Boston in July 2006. Hotel was within walking distance of many of the historical sites, Boston Commons and Quincy Market. The hotel was very confortable and service was great. The only thing I would suggest is that the staff should have been more familiar with tourist related areas and directions. On two occasions they sent us to the wrong place.

My friend and I stayed at the NineZero hotel for only one night while in Boston and were very impressed. A relaxing cd was playing in our room upon arrival and made us feel very welcomed. All staff was very friendly and helpful. We ordered room service very late from the front desk and waited about an hour. When we called to check on the status of our order they told us they hadn't received it. They rushed the food to us for no charge and it was delicious! The best room service fare I've ever had! I would absolutely recommend this hotel!
