In addition to ski-in/ski-out accommodations, the hotel has an outdoor pool, two spa tubs, a weight room, and two tennis courts that are available seasonally. A European-style spa offers more than 30 treatments (surcharge) ranging from aromatherapy and hot-stone massages to mud wraps and mineral baths. The Yellowstone Conference Center, adjacent to the hotel, has 46,000 square feet of meeting and function space for up to 1,000 people. A complimentary buffet breakfast is provided each morning during ski season. Complimentary dial-up Internet access is available in the hotel's lobby and business center. The Huntley Lodge is a smoke-free property.

    Recreation
The hotel has an outdoor pool with two spa tubs, a weight room, and two tennis courts that are available seasonally. In the winter, Big Sky’s ski slopes begin right outside the hotel and offer more than 150 named runs on 3,600 acres of skiable terrain. When the snow melts, the trails offer hiking and mountain biking.

Other outdoor activities include horseback riding, whitewater rafting, and trout-fishing on the Gallatin River. The Big Sky Golf Course, eight miles from the hotel, is noted for classic links-style play and the long drives that come with higher altitude (6,500 feet) and thinner air.

The recreational activities listed below are available either on-site or near the hotel; fees may apply.

    Features
A complimentary buffet breakfast is provided each morning during ski season.

Huntley Dining Room - Big windows, trophy animals, and a free-standing rock fireplace create a classic Montana backdrop for this restaurant’s menu of steaks, fish, and wild game. Open for breakfast and dinner.

Chet’s Bar and Grill - This popular lounge draws a lively après-ski crowd for nightly performances by the Crazy Austrians, a musical comedy troupe.

Service was significantly below our expectation for a hotel of this class and reputation - and we are almost always very satisfied - and easy to please. The cleaning staff didn't even empty full trashcans each day. The carpet seems to never be vacuumed. The service in much of the Big Sky area (restaurants, stores, bars) seemed just to be untrained.

This hotel has a great location for skiers and offers a wonderful breakfast buffet. Although the rooms were renovated a few years ago, the old structure of the building with its paper-thin walls will make you very aware of your neighbors. Doors, creaking noises of people walking over your head and water running will wake you up in the morning and keep you awake at night. If you're looking for a peaceful and relaxing stay, I would not recommend this hotel.
