Features
What to expect: A downtown landmark since 1976 that adjoins the city's 1935 Rainbow Arch, "The Fitz" attracts guests seeking a casual, friendly atmosphere, lots of penny and nickel slots, value-priced food, and walking-distance access to all central Reno's glitz and pleasure.

Amenity highlights: Fitzgeralds’ casino features what it claims are "Reno's only certified loose dollar slots." Table games include 21; craps and roulette; Three Card Poker and Let It Ride. Over 850 slot machines. Players in the Lucky Forest can toss a coin in the Lucky Waterfall, view Triple Crown winner Secretariat's horseshoe, and rub Ho-Tei’s belly, the Chinese god of good luck.

Insider tip: Guests seeking a tranquil setting with mountain views slip away to the second-story, enclosed skybridge spanning the railroad tracks, where there are machines and kiosks festooned with historical photos and articles about Reno.

Limericks Pub & Grille - Under an antique pressed-tin ceiling, this steakhouse features beef, seafood, and low-priced prime rib and also offers classic Irish dishes such as Shepherd's Pie. The Pub section serves appetizers and light meals.

Mollys Garden - With big booths and artificial gardens, this restaurant serves snacks and full meals, including a signature potato-leek soup. Open 24 hours.

Lord Fitzgeralds Feast - Bargain-priced breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffets feature mounds of crab legs and peel-and-eat shrimp and a carving station offers corned beef, roast beef, turkey, and ham.

Cup O'Joe - Serving coffee drinks, pastries, and bagels. Located in mountain-view skybridge spanning railroad tracks.

Room service is available from early morning to late night.

From noon to 4 AM, The Fitz Showbar provides musical acts on the two-level casino's main floor.

Featuring smoked-mirror ceilings and walls and glittering with neon, the casino supplies 26,000 square feet of slots, video poker, keno, blackjack, craps, roulette, and other table games and includes a small race-and-sports book.

A free Fitzgerald Card rewards table-game, keno, and slot players with O'Lucky Cents and Bucks that can be spent on rooms, meals, beverages, and gifts. Cardholders also earn automatic entry into drawings for prizes.

Hotel was clean and comfortable but there were some issues with service. By their own admissions their elevators run very slowly. Additionally, though they encourage you to use their free Valet Parking it took 30 minutes to get my car when I checked out.

Staff was extremely helpful in all aspects of service. Elevator was very slow but I think it is a running joke with the hotel and was no problem. Food in restaurants was excellent.

We had a wonderful time, one of the best in Reno that I have stayed in. Only had one incident with service and that was a person working in registration desk, I'm thinking she was just not in the mood to be at work and we just happened to be her target. The rooms were clean, quiet and dark enough to sleep in the day time. We will definetly be returning to Fitzgeralds on our next visit

Air conditioner was not working and room was very warm the first night. We told them and they fixed it the next day. Slept great the next night. Older hotel but nice place to stay with reasonable rates.

We chose the Fitzgerald Hotel as it was a smaller hotel. Great choice! Easy access from our room to the casino. Great location to the National Bowling Center which was why we went to Reno. We had many meals in the 2nd floor restaurant and they were all good and the wait staff were very attentative. We definitely plan to stay there when we return to bowl in three years.

Our accomodations were very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were especially satisfied with the housekeeping service and the guest services office. The food at Molly's was always good and reasonably priced. We felt that the room rates were a good value and will be staying there again.
