This hotel has two fully equipped meeting rooms. Salon Blanco is the larger room seating 60 people theater style. This room is lit by natural light and also has an outside terrace. Salon Gris is located on the ground floor and seats 30 people theater style. Both rooms have audio-visual conferencing facilities. High-speed Internet access (surcharge) is available in the lobby. Those arriving by car have the option of using the secure garage beneath the building for a surcharge.

What to expect: Located in the Hospitalet area, this modern hotel was opened in 2000. At the entrance a wooden walkway carries guests over a shallow pool with a bed of white pebbles. The water feature continues inside the lobby where a serene atmosphere is created by minimalist design and simple decoration. Interesting features such as a back-lit glass desk and angular central atrium make this hotel distinctive. It attracts an even mixture of both business and leisure guests. Amenity highlights: There are two fully equipped meeting rooms in the hotel, the larger of the two also has a outdoor terrace. High-speed Internet access (surcharge) is available to all guests in the lobby and friendly, multilingual staff are on hand to help with requests such as printing or faxing. Drivers can choose to use the hotel’s secure garage underneath the building for a surcharge. Insider tip: The hotel may be outside the main center of Barcelona but all shopping requirements can be met at the Gran Via 2 shopping mall just across the street. As well as all the main shops and boutiques, there are also plenty of restaurants and a cinema.
Capital Restaurant - This sunny ground floor restaurant is styled with chic modern furniture and decorative printed lampshades. Natural light streams in through floor to ceiling windows around two of the walls, especially at breakfast time when an extensive buffet is served. At lunch a menu of the day is offered and at dinner guests can choose from the à la carte menu. Typical dishes include Grilled Lamb Cutlets and Crisped Cod with Fresh Vegetables. This room also functions as a bar in the evening and cafeteria during the day.

| Good business hotel. Not centrally located, but only a short walk to the nearest metro station - which will get you anywhere in the city in a reasonable period of time. Excellent internet access (included), good restaurant. Very worthwhile.

| Pretty modern digs with clean, comfy rooms. Just a 5 minute walk from the train station, but you have to change from the FGC which serves the Barcelona suburbs to the Metro...takes a bit of time to get into the city, but great if you have an early morning flight and need to get to the aiport in a jiffy.

| The Capital H&R was a wonderful experience overall. I'll admit that I thought it might be a little out of the way of Barcelona, but it is only about 15 minutes to reach the heart of the city by metro. The hotel has a very relaxed and modern atmosphere where one can come to get away from it all. The rooms are simple yet inviting. There are rock river beds flowing on the ground floor, which is something unique I had never seen before. The only thing that I did not expect to see was our full sized bed was made up of two twins. There is a restaurant in the hotel and it is a two minute walk to the metro station Lldefons Cerda. It is also within a two minute walk of a very modern mall that has all kinds of shops and restaurants, including a "Super Wal-Mart" like store where you can pick up anything you might have left at home. I suggest that if you want to be near the Ramblas or in Barcelona's center, then you can stay here or the city center and be perfectly close and comfortable. Happy traveling!
