| this was a very nice hotel. the only problem we encountered was the very small parking lot and access in and out of the parking lot was difficult.

| This is a good hotel for recreation trips. The hotel is relatively new. Beware that the soundproofing is non existent. You can hear every hallway conversation and, if you are within 5 rooms, every time someone makes a trip to the ice machine. The staff was friendly. The continential breakfast was free and adequate (cold cereal, pastries and bagels). We were in Surrey to use the Newton Wave Pool, so it worked for our purposes.

| The hotel maids were very noisy in the hallways early in the mornings. They ignored the maid service signs and the do not disturb signs. They thought we were checking out a day before so they opened our room at 9:30am. Rooms weren't cleaned everyday and toiletries weren't restocked. Even after mentioning that our rooms needed to be cleaned it took them fours hours. Got a call at 11:15am from the front desk that check out was at 11am when I said that we had extended one more day she didn't apologize for the mistake. Over-all I didn't get the service I would get in the United States of America....there is no place like home!

| This hotel seems almost new in its appointments and its cleanliness. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Only drawback is it's somewhat out of the way location (about a 35 minute drive from downtown Vancouver.)
