| This hotel was a great base while setting up permanant living arrangements in Eugene. It was clean, comfortable, and affordable. The high speed internet access was a great asset in getting business taken care of having quick access to area information.

| The motel itself was perfectly adequate and the staff was friendly and helpful. However, the location was pretty sketchy (unless you consider being within two blocks of an adult video store a perk) which is why next time I am in Eugene I will go for a motel off of exit 195 instead of 194. It is possible that our first impression was skewed since we arrived at 2am....

| Considering that I was in town for the Oregon Country Fair and that most other hotels were booked full when I made my travel plans, this hotel was about as good as I could do without breaking the bank. Rates seemed much higher for this weekend...obviously because they could. So for the money I think the place is ridiculous. Their regular rates are more in line with the quality of the hotel. Also, no one was available the next morning so we couldn't get in for the breakfast...so forget the free breakfast. The room was a bit beat up and I can't say that I would ever stay here again for that kind of money.

| This place is pretty good for all the stuff you get, but keep in mind that not all rooms come with the kitchenette when reading through these reviews. Our room had a huge vanity instead. The bathroom is tiny, and the showerhead was not secure to the wall, so adjusting required holding and moving -and it's very tall, which is great for tall folk, but even harder for us shorties to adjust the direction of the head. Many cable channels to pick from if you find yourself bored in the middle of the night, though I had another guest making his unhappiness very clear through the thin walls of the room while trying to enjoy late night comedies. The curtains open to the parking lot, which is awkward and not pretty, but since the room would get stuffy we had to get the air circulating better. Yay for the DSL internet though. And unlike other reviewers, I didn't think the area seemed "shady," it is downtown. Outlets were a little hard to come by, and the one under the vanity was all we could use really, except for using one behind the bed for the laptop.

| It does appear to be one of those more cheaper and low class hotels like most of the ones where parking is right outside your room door, but the rooms are clean and the service is great. There's a huge number of things just given at this hotel that most hotels don't even offer: working full sized stove with four top burners, small refridgerator with freezer box inside, microwave, kitchen sink (in addition to your bathroom sink), and because you have all this, they're nice enough to throw in a set of dishes including silverware, bowls, plates, saucers and cookware, all in a drying rack so they can be cleaned and reused. Even lots of cubbard space. This is all in your own room mind you, not a shared community kitchen. Plus cable and HBO along with a free DSL line if you're bringing a laptop or something. It's seemed to be packed every night but people are usually checking out every morning after only one night, so it's pretty quiet like most of the town is. All in all it is a fantastic buy for the price and it's probably one of the best hotels in the area.

| This hotel has been cleaned up a bit (a few new things in the rooms such as new counters and sinks) but the rooms have seen hard times and there's still pleanty of evidence of that. The neighborhood is a little shady and the hotel is situated between two major one-way streets that makes you feel like you're sleeping in the middle of a highway. I'd pass on this one next time.

| Crummy looking interior with a heater that went on and off, barely warming the place. bath towels were like shop rags, no worry about people stealing those! Bring ear plugs for the morning traffic right next to the motel. Shower was nice and warm, and had cable TV, so it wasnt all bad. maybe it was the BEST VALUE!! HAHA!

| one might expect a place that calls itself "best value" to be low priced but gross, or gross and not really all that low priced. but this place is nice, and the prices really were the lowest (of all the ones i looked at, anyway). the proprietor is a kick, too. you'll find yourself wanted to just hang out in the office with him. (don't. i mean, he does have a job. but you'll feel like it.
