| While the hotel says "Suites", they're just small rooms. Nice room, nice bed, nice updated bathroom, but no where near a "suite"... For those of us West Coast travelers that do lots of red-eye's beware. NO CHECKIN before 3. Even if the place is empty. That's the unflinching rule from the front desk if you arrive at 9 am and hope to take a quick shower and change before going to McCormick. I've never had this issue with any other hotel east of the Rockies (and I do a lot of red-eye's) but this one was adament. Otherwise, it was a pleasant hotel with a pleasant staff

| We found this hotel to be a real bargain. Beautifully appointed roooms, quiet, conveniently located, and all for a great price. Parking was a bit of a hassle, but not impossible; breakfast was typical for this type of hotel. As long as the price remained competitive, I would definitely stay there again.

| It took a while to find, as the outdoor sign is very small. That was a foretaste to my room...very small. But, the staff was helpful, there was no road noise, and it was clean. The window faced a very run-down hotel though, so I kept the drapes closed. Very easy to walk to the highlights of downtown.

| Comfortable, economical place to stay. Was very clean, and hotel staff were quite helpful. Good continental breakfast served all morning. Nice location, too. Thermostat was easy to use and regulated temps well, something I find to be frustrating in hotels. One thing we noticed was how well the rooms shut out the light. When we woke in the morning, we couldn't tell if it was morning because the room was so impervious to stray lights. Not for everyone, though. Ice machines are on every floor, but vending machines are in the basement. Single rooms are very small, but laid out well considering. Walls are thin, so when your neighbor showers it sounds like he's in your bathroom. And your views are of the parking garage or an alley, so not too picturesque. But we weren't looking for tons of creature comforts, just the basics, so this was all fine with us (except the sound thing, which was a little annoying).

| Although the Comfort Inn may not offer as many amenities as some of the higher priced hotels around the Magnificent Mile, it was perfect for a winter weekend of theater and shopping. Very reasonable rate for a clean, comfortable (albeit cozy) room in a great location - a couple blocks from Michigan Avenue, a mile from the theater district. The staff was very helpful and parking was adjacent to the hotel.
