| Would definitely go back--best nights sleep, excellent food in on-site restuarant, and many complimentary features (i.e. internet, cots for additional guest in room, etc.. Excellent location for shopping, tours, and waterfront dining. Mid-way, and at the end of our trip, we rated this hotel the BEST of all accommodations!

| a great hotel, one of a kind in Halifax, lovely atmosphere by the ocean, great location for family trips, great staff too. one exception though, there used to be a minibar in the room in the days when it used to be the casino hotel. highly recommended for family vacation trips.

| Hotel is within walking distance of most of Halifax's main attractions especially the "Historic Properties" - right out the front door. The heated indoor pool was a treat and the breakfast buffet well worth the price. The staff couldn't have been more helpful recommending restaurants, sights or giving directions. Just try not to get a room facing inward, i.e. the pool, which can be noisy with children & teens.

| Just an excellent experience with the front desk staff who also doubles as concierge. Very courteous, polite & extremely efficient and helpful. Housekeeping was great and so was their restaurant staff. Other hotels in general including some Marriott locations should send their staff here for training :-) as I have not always had the same experience elsewhere.
