| My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights in late August on our honeymoon. Annecy is a great little town with tons of cafes and restaurants. You can rent a boat, rent a bicycle and ride on the 30+ km bike path or just stroll and people watch. We did not do much at the hotel except sleep and shower. The room was absolutely tiny by US standards, but was very clean. The people at the desk were also very friendly and helpful. There is a computer workstation to get on the internet for free in the lobby. There is a free parking lot if you can find room--it's not too big. We rented a compact car for a day and had no problem parking it in the lot. Overall, I would go back! Be sure to get a pain au chocolat from the Chaud Brioche - just a block away!

| We were on a quick weekend holiday from Geneva, where we live, and we wanted a nice hotel with character (i.e., not part of a chain). We chose the Allobroges and were extremely pleased. The service was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. The room - while tiny - was well equipped, clean, modern and comfortable. The only lack was a minibar. The parking lot at the hotel was full, so the Allobroges management had made arrangements for guests to use the public parking lot just behind the hotel. The old section of Annecy was a 10 minute walk from the hotel, down pedestrian-only streets. We would recommend this hotel to our friends.

| A charming hotel within walking distance to the old town of Annecy and the park. I would definately stay here again. The staff was very kind to us and we were comfortable. The only difficulty was parking which is big enough for a shopping cart and we dented the rental car. Bigger spaces are available at the public parking garage and the hotel will pay a portion of the fees, but you will probably have to ask for this service.

| This is a nice hotel with 24 hour bar service, nice rooms, a lift, and free internet use in the lobby. The staff is very friendly. It's about 5 min. walk from the lake which is gorgeous. 5 min. walk from the train but still in a nice area. Cheap shopping here. Great town. Visited six cities this trip from Amsterdam to Venice. This is only 1 of 2 cities I will definitey return to. My favorite of the trip. Try the Adelscott beer!
