| It's a little far from things, especially Heathrow Airport (82 GRP taxi). Count on 5.40 GRP a day for the train, although that give you all day bus and train throughout. Excel Station is across the street, 20 min ride to Tower Station. Room is small, but quiet. Shower is 70 cm diameter.

| Overall, an OK hotel that did the job...it was a decent sized room (got the double suite), very well located next to the DLR and ExCel (and not too far from Canary Wharf), but the neighbourhood left much to be desired. The bathroom and in particular the shower was so small that you couldn't even turn around, and there was very little closet/storage space at all (and we travelled light!). The cafe downstairs was decent. The staff was somewhat friendly upon check-in but they turned the heat off in May, while it was still very cold out - and the first time we asked for a heater they told us that they didn't have one. The next day while we were sitting in the lobby they had handed a heater to another couple. Also difficult to get a receipt - I tried to get a simple document stating that I stayed at the hotel, they kicked up such a fuss and refused to cooperate.

| This is a clean, no frills, reasonably priced, comfortable hotel with good restaurant and friendly, helpful staff. Neighborhood not great but friendly and offers conveniences. Would stay again.

| Easy arrival from the tube. Minutes from downtown. Next to the new convention center Excel. Room is spacious and bed comfortable. Plenty of hot water. Shower is a little small but usable. Three restaurants on premises. Hotel service is accommodating. I would stay there again.

| This hotel was a perfect location due to its proximity to London City Airport and other attractions on London's East End. The room was well-equipped and very clean and the staff was efficient and eager to help with anything.
