Teton Mountain Lodge Amenities
Opened in 2002, this hotel is the creation of Rob DesLauriers, mountaineer, “extreme skier,” author, and star of 25 ski films. The hotel offers ski-in access; with overnight tuning and plenty of ski storage on site.

The Cascade Grill House & Spirits provides fireside dining and a creative Western menu. The adjoining lounge features a fireplace, microbrews, and a lively après-ski scene. A heated dining patio outside the restaurant and bar offers expansive views of the Gros Ventre Mountains. Framed by floor-to-ceiling windows, the health club includes an indoor pool and spa tub with slate deck, a light-filled fitness room, and an outdoor pool and spa tub with mountain and valley views.

Complimentary wireless Internet access is available in the lobby. Public computers near the lobby provide high-speed Internet access (surcharge).

Recreation
The hotel offers an indoor lap pool and year-round outdoor lap pool, both with spa tubs and panoramic views. The 24-hour fitness center contains cardio machines, free weights, abdominal equipment, TVs, yoga mats, and a cooler with mineral water.

This ski-in hotel is about 125 yards from the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort’s aerial tram and less than 200 yards from the Bridger Gondola. The resort has 11 lifts, 120 runs, 2,500 acres of in-bound ski terrain, and more than 3,000 backcountry acres. Trails are 10% beginner, 40% intermediate, and 50% advanced; snowboarding is permitted. Skiers can experience one of the longest, steepest continuous vertical drops of any ski area in North America: from 10,450 feet to 6,311 feet.

A five-minute walk from the hotel, the Saddlehorn Activity Center offers horseback riding, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and dog sledding.

The Snow King Ski & Summer Resort, 12 miles away, provides 400 acres of skiable terrain (15% beginner, 25% intermediate, 60% advanced) accessible by five lifts. The resort also has a tubing park and a snowboard park with halfpipe.

Teton Pines, five miles away, has a championship golf course designed by Arnold Palmer. The Jackson Hole Golf & Tennis Club, 13 miles from the hotel, includes a top-ranked course redesigned by Robert Trent Jones, Jr.

The concierge can arrange Snake River fly fishing, whitewater rafting, horseback riding, tandem paragliding, balloon rides, and other outdoor adventures. Grand Teton National Park is one mile away. The recreational activities listed below are available either on site or near the hotel; fees may apply.

Features
What to expect: This lodge-style hotel faces the slopes of the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. The warmly inviting, three-level lobby features a log-beam cathedral ceiling, wrought-iron chandeliers, log pillars, and Oriental rugs on gleaming hardwood floors. Richly hued tapestries and vintage snowshoes are displayed on the walls. Two wood-burning fireplaces lend a warm glow. Guests relax on cushy sofas with faux-fur throws.

Amenity highlights: Floor-to-ceiling windows frame the indoor lap pool and spa tub, providing natural light and commanding mountain views. A soaring cathedral ceiling adds to the sense of spaciousness. Just outside, the year-round lap pool and spa tub are on a terraced deck, with panoramic vistas.

The resort’s environmentally respectful Mountain Lodge Spa features four treatment rooms, including two traditional massage rooms, a couples’ room with fireplace, and a hydrotherapy room. Among the wide array of therapies are the Signature Hot Stone Massage, combining heated Snake River stones with restorative oils; the Peak Performance Sports Massage; Shiatsu; the Active Seaweed Vichy Treatment; and the Active Men’s Facial.

The Cascade Grill House & Spirits serves New Western cuisine, such as Fire Grilled Buffalo Filet Mignon and Molasses Seared Elk. Dessert temptations include Warm Huckleberry Upside Down Cake and Molten Chocolate Volcano Cake.

Insider tip: The Jackson Hole Mountain Resort offers complimentary snowshoe tours, led by a Forest Service naturalist, on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Tours begin—and snowshoes can be rented—at the resort’s Nordic Center, across the parking lot from the clock tower. Reservations are advisable but not required.

Cascade Grill House & Spirits - New Western cuisine such as Smoked Bison Carpaccio, Charred Flat Iron Steak, Trout Baked in Parchment Paper. Range Breakfast Buffet featuring house-made granola, freshly baked breads, and make-your-own egg-wraps. Upscale mountain decor, including fireplace, mahogany colors, wrought-iron lighting. Year-round heated patio facing the valley and the Gros Ventre Mountains. Breakfast (buffet and à la carte), lunch, and dinner daily.

Cascade Bar - Après-ski favorite serves local microbrews on tap, cocktails, wines, and daily drink specials. Menu highlights include fire-grilled pizza, Angus beef burgers, and vegetable chili served in an acorn-squash bowl. The lodge-style room includes a fireplace, TV, and photos of well-known local skiers.

We enjoyed our stay. The rooms were excellent. The food, however, was not worth the cost and the staff were only average.

Very impressed! We stayed in the "Lodge Room" and it was very spacious and very comfortable. There is a beautiful fireplace in the center of the room that has a timer to it and the tv is right above the fireplace. The bed is very comfortable and had nice linens. The shower and huge soaking tub was very nice. The walk-in closet was huge. Our only complaint was the workout facility was rather small, but better than nothing. The Teton Mountain Lodge is in a great location. It is in the Village right by the ski slopes, 5 minutes from the south entrance to the Grand Teton National Park, one hour from the south entrance to Yellowstone National Park and about 10 to l5 minutes from downtown Jackson Wyoming. We would stay at the Teton Mountain Lodge again, no doubt!

Would have been even better if there was an outdoor pool as it got pretty warm outside in July.

I wanted to buy some detergents for wash.but I found it was sold out. so I cheched the other floor.but I found no detergents. I asked to front desk to refill detergents to the vending machine, but he said "there are no stock at this moment,so you go out and buy the detergents at some store" So,I had to go out to buy the detergents. I was so uncomfortable to this hotel. 1.there ware no detergents in every floor. 2.there is no stock control. 3.there is no apology for this uncomfortableness.

We enjoyed our stay. The luxurious bedding and huge "jacuzzi" tub were our favorite features. This is definitely a "nicer" hotel, not 5 stars, but quite nice.

The room gave us a feeling of being home, with the granite counter tops, wood cabinets, huge refrigirator, a dinnette, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher. Very clean, excellent service. Only problem was the pullout queen bed. My husband and I are used to sleeping on a King size bed so sleeping on a queen was a bit tight. Also, being a pulldown bed, there's not a lot of cushion and every turn my husband made, I felt.

We went during the "off season" and found this to be a perfect value. Robes in the rooms, double shower heads, great views, starbucks coffee in the rooms, pool, hot tub, sauna. We were really impressed.
