| my girlfriend and i stayed at this hotel over the weekend and it was a pleasurable stay. first off, the hotel is in palm desert not in palm springs, where we were planning to spend most of our time. when drove thru highway 111 though, we found palm desert more to our tastes than palm springs. the hotel is situated a few blocks away from the el paseo shopping district, which has lots of art galleries, high-end stores, and restaurants. to the other side of the hotel, a block away is a ralphs for ultimate convenience. across from the hotel on the other side of the road is a plaza with more restaurants and various stores. the hotel room itself was quite nice for the price. our room had a king size bed with a small couch with a coffee table, a desk, refridgerator, coffee maker, and a balcony. everything was neat and clean, and the ac was a welcome relief from the hot hot heat outside. the only gripe i had was that the AV connections on the back of the tv were taken out. i brought my ps2 to watch dvds late at night but there weren't any connections to plug into. oh and also the shower head was too low for me (and i'm only 5'10, which is average) and the water pressure was non-existant. all in all though, the room was a bargain and the free breakfast was alright.

| Wasn't sure what to expect for the price but was pleasently surprised at the cleanliness of the room and the location. It is in a very nice area and within walking distance from Starbucks and grocery stores. The full breakfast was very good and you can't beat the price, FREE! Just booked another stay for next month. My wife and I like to get away and Palm Desert is only about an hour and a half away.

| Spent all day shuffling back and forth between beach and swim up bar in the pool. The beach is nicer on this side of San Juan. Much nicer than the beach at Condado. If you want a nicer beach you have to go to the far east side of the island near Fajardo & Culebra. Other wise, if you are in San Juan this is the place to be. Very friendly staff. Clean and comfortable rooms. Good food at Salsa restaraunt & a convenient Ice Cream/ snack/ Latte bar inside that really gives you no reason to have to leave the hotel. Every night a Salsa band plays and attracts a lot of locals dressed up to the T. It's not unusual to see the dancing spilling over to the front desk. I saw Jet Ski rentals & para sailing near by, but was too drunk to motivate. The only damper was the sometimes loud planes taking off.

| The hotel was fine for the price. I wouldn't stay there for a week with my wife, but I was there by myself on a business trip for a couple days and it was fine for that. The A/C made alot of noise, but I was just happy that it worked since it was 115+ outside. The walls were pretty thin, too. I could hear the guy next door hacking up a lung in the morning, but other than that I can't complain. The place was clean overall and it had a mini fridge in the room, that was a plus for me.

| 2 molds of toilet paper sticking in the ceiling of restroom probably done by previous occupants, mosquitos inside the room. Excellent complimentary breakfast. Efficient and friendly staff.
