| I would recommend this hotel only if money is a priority. The neighborhood is fun and the hotel is convienently located. It is under renovation though and the room was older.

| The hotel is still undergoing renovation, so the lobby and the front of the building do not look very presentable. The room and bathroom were very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. Had a view of the top of the Empire state building from the bathroom window. The only bad thing was that there was a large group of British tourist who kept slamming doors and woke us up at 7am. They should probably work on soundproofing or postings advising guest against slamming the hall and room doors as courtesy to other guests. Other than that, I would stay there again since it was pretty cheap and conveniently located.

| The hotel is currently being renovated. The rooms are freshly painted and decorated and the bathrooms have new showers, tile, and fixtures. The beds are moderately comfortable but you may want to bring your own pillow (the ones provided by the hotel were like a rocks). The microwave and coffee pot are nice touches. The biggest problem: very slow elevators encourage people to take the stairs, which generates alot of noise that can be heard in the guest rooms. The slamming doors and heavy footsteps going up and down the stairs lasted all night long.
