Formerly the German Federal State Residence, the hotel has in the past hosted international heads of state including Queen Elizabeth II and former US president Bill Clinton. The rotunda, with its impressive dome, is the central showpiece of the hotel’s conference facilities, with 21 rooms designed for seminars, social functions and banquets. The rotunda itself can hold 440 people and is adjoined by the Nordhrhein-Westfalen banquet hall. The hotel has a helicopter base as well as underground and overground parking, and practical amenities include a 24-hour front desk, express check-in/out services, round-the-clock room service, and laundry and dry cleaning services.
