| The hotel is definitely gorgeous. However, as nice as the grounds are, the rooms feel dated - I had to get a room transfer, as a)the shower didn't have water pressure, adn b) the room had no internet access. It really sucked that they charged a pretty stiff fee to use the internet. The food was not bad, though the service at the buffet could've been better. They were slow to replace things that had run out, and it took a while to get coffee refreshed.

| The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel is well taken care of which is kind of impressive due to its size. The only negative thing I can think of is that its a little bit of a drive to KL City. So if you do not have a rental car you will be taking taxis everyday. There was also a communication problem between the hotel and Expedia. I had paid for the hotel in advance through expedia but the hotel wanted their money upon arrival. I was told by Expedia that they do not pay for the hotel until I checkout and that is the procedure they use with all thier hotels. The hotel did not agree and put a freeze on my credit card account. As you can imagine this put a damper on my vacation. It was only for the first two days though. An Expedia rep. called the hotel and cleared up the mistake. Everything after this was fantastic. The people at this hotel are so freindly! I would recommend this hotel to families and couples that want a quiet place with a wonderful staff and nice surroundings.
