| Nestled between Saint Mark's Square and Rialto Bridge overlooking the Grand Canal, the centrally-located Palazzo Sant’ Angelo is a convenient base from which to explore magical Venice. The warm and inviting hall with its splendid original Palladian pavement is decorated with warm colors and an old stone fireplace. From the hall windows guests can enjoy a spectacular view of the Canal Grande. All rooms are elegantly ornamented with refined furniture and details of classical Venetian style. Piazza San Marco, Venice Theatre, Palazzo Grassi, as well as all the major attractions and principal monuments of the "Doges' city" are all easily reached by a short walk or by using the vaporetto that stops a few meters from the hotel.

| We stayed at the Palazzo Sant'Angelo at the end of a 12 day cruise, and the staff were terrific with helping us figure out the best and easiest way to get from the ship to the hotel and then to the airport. Our room was in the back of the hotel, oddly shaped and disappointing. The bathroom was large and bright though! I would recommend requesting, in advance, a room with a view. The location of the hotel was perfect - with a vaporetto stop almost at the door (get the tourist pass, and you can get anywhere in Venice from your front door!!), and within walking distance from Piazza San Marco, the Rialto and l'Accademia.

| Everything about this hotel was wonderful. The staff were very helpful, breakfast was wonderful, room was luxurious!!!! This hotel is worth every penny. The water taxi drops you right off in front of the hotel, very convenient. Plenty of great restaurants nearby.

| The hotel is very pleasant and has an outstanding location. It was fairly expensive for the size and nature of the rooms. Many of the rooms were not on the water side but exacted pricing as though that were the case. Without a view of the water the pricing was very expensive and there are other hotels that are more cost effective in the immediate area offering the same amenities. However, the staff was outstanding and the hotel is on the Grand Canal.

| We had a wonderful stay at the Palazzo Sant'Angelo. The lobby salon and bar were welcoming and had newspapers in many languages. The view from the salon and bar was the Grand Canal. We enjoyed the friendly and helpful staff. The room was the best "family room" we encountered during our trip. The main bed was huge and the mattress the best. The full sized fold out had a good mattress and it's own little alcove, complete with television. The bath room was huge, had a spa tub and was the only hotel during our trip that had wash cloths. Each evening, one of the staff would slip in and turn down the bed, leaving a chocolate square on each pillow. We would love to return!

| We visited Venice in June 2006, and stayed at Palazzo Sant Angelo. It is located on the Grand Canal, but was quiet because of very little pedestrian traffic. The wter bus stopped about 100 feet from the door, so access to all the sights was easy. The Hotel was beautiful, and the staff was very helpful.

| great location. easy to find compared to other hotels. don't take water taxi ( very over priced) I didn't like the fact that the water taxi trip from the airport was 90 euros, but when the hotel arranged the return trip it was 100 euros. The bar is great, but overpriced. The value is there, mainly because of location. Good place for 1st time visit to venice
