Picked this hotel because of its location and it looked different. What we found was an extremely comfortable hotel that was clean and new and had a young and friendly staff. We would recommend and stay again.

The Kendall Hotel is basically across the street from the Kendall Square station on the Boston MTBA Red Line. I guess it once was a Fire Station, but has been remodeled into what almost feels like a B&B. The location is very convenient to the MIT campus and the Charles River. The rooms were small, but very nicely appointed - my wife and I were quite comfortable. In the rooms, my wireless signal was at times weak, but that could have been associated with my laptop's internal receiver. There was no access fee for the wireless! The Kendall provides a breakfast meal with the room, and they had a great spread. Since the room rate was more than reasonable (for Boston), the included breakfast was a nice touch. I enjoyed our stay.

the T station is on the same block; the service is very nice; the breakfast excellent. The restaurant may not offer a lot of variety and is a bit pricy but Boston and its hundreds of restaurants are just accross the bridge. Will Definitely book same hotel next time i'm in the area.

The hotel is clean, with comfortable rooms, furnished in an unusual way, really charming. The location can`t be better: next to MIT and to a "T" station. I really recommend it.

I loved this hotel - not only convenient (the T is on the same block), it's charming, clean and has a lovely dining room/restaurant, great buffet breakfast (eggs, pancakes, fruit) and small lounge with a fireplace. It was very cosy and I will certainly go back!

It is built in an old fire house, and has an interesting collection of Americana. The breakfasts are great, and the rooms in the fire house really interesting. The location is superb, easy to reach the T and get around Boston and Cambridge. We highly recommend it.
