This nine-story, 250-room business hotel is located off I-595, 8 miles from the airport, l5 miles from downtown Fort Lauderdale, and 20 miles from the Fort Lauderdale beach. The 36-hole Jacaranda Golf Club is adjacent to the hotel. The hotel overlooks a lake with a fountain. Guests enjoy complimentary use of an outdoor splash pool, spa tub, and fitness center that includes treadmills, bikes, free weights, a weight machine, and TVs. Complimentary shuttle transportation is provided to guests within a five-mile radius of the hotel. Complimentary shuttle for guests returning to the airport is provided (gratuity for driver required). | The Renaissance - Ft. Lauderdale was a nice clean hotel. It had good exercise and leisure facilities as well as a nice dining area. Perfect for business!

| hotel was on par with other renaissance properties, but location was in an office park, with no amenities within easy walking distance. quality of hotel service was below par. front desk person was of absolutely no help with any of the three things i inquired about.

| Hotel is great for the business trip or as a stop for road trip. If you value a great and QUIET sleep then this is the best I've stayed in. No plumbing noises or groaning lifts and very little sound from adjoining rooms.Only down side is it's about half hour + from beaches but can be longer during peak hour.Happy travels!
