Features
What to expect: A bowl of apples and flickering gas fire greet guests in the hotel’s traditionally furnished lobby. Behind the fireplace is a more private sitting area with a television mounted on shelves over the hearth. The weekday clientele consists mainly of people on business with Verizon across the street or the numerous federal agencies nearby. Tour groups and leisure travelers stay on weekends.
Amenity highlights: On the second floor is the fitness room, equipped with an exercise bike, two treadmills, a stair machine, weights, and scale. Guests can dine outside on a landscaped patio. The hotel’s complimentary shuttle takes guests to destinations within a three-mile radius, by request.
Insider tip: In the square before the courthouse across the street, area farmers sell produce every Saturday morning. In summer, the Marine Corps Band performs complimentary concerts here one night a week.
Great American Grill - Located off the lobby, the restaurant serves breakfast and dinner in the small dining room or on the patio under an awning. Complimentary Starbuck’s coffee is available throughout the day. Courthouse Lounge - Large bar with TVs suspended from the ceiling. Food from the Grill available.

| This place is very nice! We stayed one night and it was very close to the metro. We took the metro into Washington D.C. for dinner and drinks and hailed a cab back to the hotel after midnight. Very clean and convenient. Will definitely use this place again when we want to eat out in DC.

| As an "out of towner" we were served in every way. The front desk staff provided accurate, printed directions to attractions, transportation and dining. The restaurant was convenient and the staff beyond courteous. I would highly recomend this hotel when tyou visit the D.C. area.

| Room was clean and well-equipped. Only problem was that the A/C didn't do a very good job of cooling things off - we turned it down to 68 and the room temp never got below 74 during the day, even though there was cold air coming out of the unit. This was in early May and the temp outside was in the upper 70's. Underground parking was free and elevator from garage took us directly next to our room. Coffee maker, hair dryer, iron and toiletries provided. Internet connection would have been convenient for computer users. Maid was pleasant and even put a clean pillowcase on the special pillow we brought from home. We have relatives in Arlington about 5 mins from hotel, so it was a very convenient location for us. There was a weekend farmer's market and flea market a block away, which was fun. Overall very good except for A/C.

| Hotel is located in good area with restaurants & Metro close by. We got a ride by the Hotel van to the restaurant & an offer to to be picked up although we walked back. The Metro was just a couple of blocks & we were in D.C. in less than 20 minutes. We did not eat in the Hotel, although we did take advantage of the free Starbucks coffee in the room & downstairs. Also the parking is free.
