| The staff is extremely helpful and consideate of your needs. Our non-smoking room was unavailable when we arrived and we were upgaded to a smoking suite for the night. The next day we were upgraded to a water view non smoking suite (The smoking rooms are terrible if you dont smoke.)The ferry is fun to take to Downtown Disny. The pool and slide are great.

| My husband and I were a little disappointed when we walked into our "studio" room. It was an ordinary hotel room that we could have found elsewhere for MUCH cheaper. The grounds are beautiful, if you can try to get a one bedroom villa because it has a whirlpool tub and washer/dryer where as the studios do not. Laundry facilities are fairly closeby though. Purchase goods for your room from a supermarket if you can because the store on the grounds is SUPER expensive.

| The room/suite was wonderful. there were two bedrooms for privacy and a central kitchen/den area. It worked well for meeting and planning with the other couple staying with us.It was Disney at its best, service and cleanliness-wise.

| I was glad I had. The resort is too big to rely on Disney transportation within the resort and to the parks. I was much quicker to drive to the parks each day.

| We are a family of 5 and this was a great option for us. We stayed in a 2 bed villa and the accommodation was great, lots and lots of room and we found the Disney transport system very convenient. Old Key West isnt cheap but it is definitely worth it if you are after a resort retreat as well as proximity to the theme parks. Overall, sensational and we would definitely stay here again.

| Very clean spacious and well-appointed "studio" condo had lovely covered patio with ceiling fan, huge bedroom,living/dining area,well-equipped kitchen, superb whirlpool in a gorgeous bathroom with separate his/hers sinks! Very private-- bamboo and shrubs surrounding. Also a large laundry area in condo with iron and board. SO convenient...I did a load every night --they provided the detergent--and went home with clean clothes! Completely wheelchair/handicap accessible. King bed so comfortable. Both TVs working perfectly with cable. We had trouble with our Internet access and while staff responsive, the problem was never solved. (It would keep "dropping" the service.) We adored the restaurant on site --Olivia's -- family oriented but the food was fantastic at both dinner and breakfast. (And my husband and I always dine at "upscale" restaurants.) I kept feeling like I was in Key West-- Disney Magic! TIP: the creamy grits are "to die for"!! Parking isexcellent. The bus service to everywhere in Disney was convenient and frequent. Pool nearby with Turtle Shack bar. We took the motor launch each night to Downtown Disney and Pleasure Island..never had to wait. Staff were welcoming and extremely helpful. Old Key West was exactly what you would expect from Walt Disney World -- perfect in every way for an escape from the "real world"!

| If you're looking for a flashy, fast-paced resort, Old Key West is not for you. But if your family is looking for a relaxing getaway, Old Key West may be the right choice. My family stayed in a 1 bd. villa and were very pleased with the spacious accomodations. The staff was also extremely polite and even helped with our early departure to the airport (we had to leave by 4:30 am to catch our plane!). The day before they arranged cab service to be waiting outside our room and even sent one of the resort workers to help load our luggage. My children loved the pool with the sand castle slide. We also enjoyed eating out by the marina after swimming. There is a general store on site, so we were able to buy the necessities ( and some non-necessities such as ice cream!).The only downfall was the distance between the main building and some of the villas, but the weather was perfect and we actually enjoyed the walk (we did use the bus system , too.)The resort is fairly large, but it was amazing at how peaceful it was...and after spending the day at one of the Disney parks , it was nice to "come home" to it at the end of the day!

| The Old Key West was a great place to stay. We were close to the pool, bus stop and resturant in a beautiful one bedroom with large whirlpool bath. The only complaint was about the transportation. Old Key West buses were very slow compared to other resorts in picking us up from parks or Downtown Disney. Christmas time is very crowded.
