| The Church Street Inn was wonderful. It was like having a 2-story apartment in the heart of Charleston's Market. Everything (except the beach) was in walking distance. I'd definitely reccomend this hotel. One note, there is a $12 a day parking fee I was unaware of that may come into your decision making if you're staying for a lengthy visit.

| The Church Street Inn is the perfect location for those who want to explore Charleston on foot. It's right next to the city market and is literally steps away from some great restaurants and stores. We parked our car in the nearby garage and never touched it again until we left.

| For visiting the key attractions in Charleston this hotel is right in the heart of this charming town. Walkable to all restaurants and shopping and had a great southern flavor with courtyard and fountains.

| We stayed here when we got married, and we were impressed to say the least with the Church Street Inn. No need for a lot of taxis if you stay here - pretty much all the restaurants, stores and historic sites you'd want are within walking distance. The staff was friendly and knowledgable about attractions and businesses in the area. Most of the people offering "vacation clubs" (i.e. time shares) we ran into were along the street to the left of the Inn's front door as you leave. Overall, the Inn was charming - not your typical hotel.

| the location is great; once parked, you can get around easily on foot. there's a nice courtyard. the upstairs-downstairs format of the rooms is a nice arrangement. not 4-star service, but if that's not important for you, this place works fine.

| I cannot say enough about how pleased I was with The Church Street Inn. It was right in the center of everywhere I wanted to go and the staff was extremely hospitable. My room was more like a mini-apartment than a standard hotel room, with a full kitchenette and living area downstairs and a private bedroom and bath upstairs. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a place to stay in the heart of the historic district.
