| It's a great hotel, especially if you don't want to stay in Portland. You're only 8 miles north of Portland and about a 20 minute drive from the Mount St. Helens area.

| The hotel staff did not have much sympathy for me when I complained about the smell of smoke in the hallways and in my non-smoking room. They said there was nothing they could do about it. This hotel has 6 smoking rooms on the third floor. At the time of our stay, the entire third floor from one end of the hallway to the other reeked of cigarette smoke. Do not stay on the third floor if you have any sensitivity to second hand smoke.

| Not enough lighting if you want to read, but if you have small children that are traveling with you and you need the dim lights for them to sleep and still see then it's great.

| My only complaint is that the sheets were rather thin. The hotel looks lovely from the outside. The parking is excellent. The continental breakfast is really nice (self-service but with a nice level of variety). Front desk staff was friendly and very helpful to us. I have always been impressed with red lion hotels and this was no exception

| This facility was very nice. The room need more light fixtures as it difficult to see. Also, the bathroom was small and this made it difficult to close the door when in the bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. Enjoyed the breakfast provided. The staff was very courteous and went out of their way to help, including making telephone calls to local businesses to see if a particular service was offered.
