| When we arrived, everything was locked up. The hotel clerk/security guard left me and my 82 year old mother waiting outside on the sidewalk for ten minutes (we needed the key to the room) while the clerk talked on the phone at her desk. This was after I told the clerk that my mother could barely walk.

| Sun Suites is certainly not a fancy hotel with many amenities, but it does have a simple charm and provides good value. The beds are not particularly comfortable, but the AC worked good and the room was quiet. Although there was a coffee maker in the room, guests must purchase their coffee and condiments from the vending machine down the hall, which I thought was cheesy. And the clean towel policy made me chuckle - if on an extended stay, a guest gets fresh towels only twice a week, unless one is willing to go to the office and "pay a nominal fee". Luckily, I was only there one night.
