Pocmont Resort and Conference Center Amenities
Located next to Bushkill Falls (a series of eight waterfalls) in the eastern Poconos, this resort sits on 250 acres surrounded by the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. It’s built around a conference center with more than 12,000 square feet of function space, including eight meeting rooms and several outdoor venues.

Depending on the season, the resort offers a variety of daily and evening activities—from bingo and TV-trivia contests to line dancing and Broadway-style stage shows—in the on-site nightclub. The resort’s Kids World Camp provides supervised activities for children aged 3–10 during the summer and on most weekends and holidays. Programs for children 11 and older are also available. In addition, there are indoor and outdoor pools and a full health club. Hiking trails are nearby.

    Recreation
The resort features indoor and outdoor pools and a health club with a full complement of cardiovascular and strength-training equipment. One-on-one sessions with personal trainers and regular classes in aerobics, kick-boxing, and yoga are also available. Other on-site options include ice skating and snowmobiling in the winter and badminton, bocce, and shuffleboard during the warmer months.

Just outside the resort, the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area comprises 40 miles of the Delaware River and 70,000 acres of surrounding land, which make it a popular spot for hiking, biking, horseback riding, and canoeing. Guests will also find three golf courses within 10 miles.

The recreational activities listed below are available either on site or near the hotel; fees may apply.

    Features

Being only an 1 1/2 away from NYC definetly makes this place a plus. The fact that it is further away from the town so you do actually feel like you are in the country a plus plus. Bushkill Falls is literally a minute away and if you like outdoor summer/winter sports, this hotel is a plus plus plus. The only donwside I can see is that our room was on the small side (although in a cute little cabin which for city dwellers is a refreshing change from the big building) and for young couples and it can seem either a bit too old or childish. But if you want to go somewhere in the outdoors and get away from the people in the city that annoy you, this is a great place to be!

I was stunned to see that we were paying that much for an old, small motel that was not in the main resort, had eroding concrete stairs and where we had to park well away from the room in the rain. The room was too small for a family of four. The concrete stairs had eroded so much that the re-bar was showing through in places. The "Resort" looked great from the outside when we drove up but then we found out that our room was way over to the side in an old motel that they had obviously included in the "Resort" but had been built many years before. I do not recommend this place and I don't care that it is in the Poconos. It is not worth it.

Not a nice place -- run down -- very disapointed. If our use to travelling and staying in nice places -- look elsewhere. If your in the camping mood -- this is the place.

Me and my boyfriend were looking for a nice place to celebrate our two year anniversary when we came across Pocmont. It's not as bad as the reviews it has received from the others. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the place was very clean and had a lot of hotel activities for the weekend. It was close to a lot of outdoor activities and the beautiful Buskill Falls. We had a great time!!! The only complaints we had were about the food...not too great and our tiny room. It was renovated and clean but just tiny...I would recommend it to others. Definitely a nice family place.

I was expecting to stay in a hotel with lots of amenities and with two restaurants on site not to have to leave the grounds necessarily. The first surprise came when we checked in and our room was half of a cottage about 400 feet from the hotel. The second surprise came when you had to walk down to the hotel in the morning to get your "complimentary" cup of coffee thank goodness it was not snowing outside. In order to eat at the "restaurant" you had to purchase a "meal plan"---that means you eat when they are open and you do not have much selection and I never did see the pizza place open. The bright side of the stay was the fitness facitlities and the pool area, the staff, equipment, and cleanilness were beyond excpetional. If you are not in for the luxuries and the tiny amenities of home stay here. If you want a first class workout facility with pool stay here.

This is a lousy hotel to stay at. I would never recommend anyone stay here at all. They don't truely advertise their rooms leading to the consumer at risk.
