| The lady at the front desk was very nice but didn't have very much information about the Universal shuttle. The shuttle is free and in walking distance but the area is somewhat scary to walk through at night. The hotel room provided the basics but the television was in a very awkward spot in the room. I would recommend this hotel to anyone that will not be in their room very much and just needs a place to sleep.

| Very convenient, opposite Metro Red Line, next to Subway sandwich, near Carl's Jr burger joint & liquor store! All within short walking distance. Could save you alot of taxi fare! So near to Universal Studio also. Room is okay, toilet is clean.

| Our room was not ready for 1 1/2 hour after the check in time. Complimentary breakfast and coffee was at no set time, just whenever the office staff had it ready and unlocked the door. A couple of the parking spaces get blocked by other vehicles, which makes it difficult to leave at an early hour. And if you arrive late at night, you are the one blocking someone else's vehicle. I beleive that the walk to the Universal Studio trolly is further than 800 yards, but not bad. The location of the hotel especially was disappointing. The hotel was located "on the wrong side of the neighborhood" if you know what I mean. Even though we were not approached or disturbed by "unwanteds", it was an uncomfortable feeling. Overall quality and appearance of the hotel itself was just alright. Okay if you're staying for one night/just passing threw. However, I visited for three nights. I will definately be staying elsewhere on my next visit to Studio City and likely to stay at a "chain hotel name".

| If you're looking for a place to simply overnight prior to walking to Universal Studios, then the Nite Inn is ideal. The free tram to Universal Studios is less than 5 minutes walk from the hotel, though the area is a bit "seedy". Rooms are basic but comfortable.

| If you like no windows, mattress on a wooden box, no place to put your clothes and walls that need painting, things like that you will like the place. The desk is not very helpful with any questions.
