| This was a great place to stay because of location and price. Everything is within walking distance including shopping and dining. Even though it is an older motel (like many others in the downtown district), it is very clean and well-kept. It had the extras like refrigerator, micro-wave, and dining set. We are vacationers that do not sit in our hotel room all day so it was perfect for dropping in to shower after white water rafting or horseback riding and get ready to go right back out for dinner.

| Clean rooms. We really appreciated the air conditioning after two weeks in Yellowstone without. The Anvil Hotel is very close to the center of Jackson so we just parked the car and left it.

| Very poor parking conditions, few spaces, most parking in the alley behind hotel. Room wasn't in very good condition, carpet worn, not enough towels, generally not very clean. In the morning, the day manager did not report to work until 1 hour after the reported start time for the Continental breakfast. Very disappointed!

| Requested a front room and were placed in the back on an alley. Room had food left in a drawer. A truck backed into the alley and damaged two cars, fortuneately not our rental car. A/C was so loud we couldn't sleep with it turned "ON".

| It's a small and rustic hotel, but it's fine. I've found the room very clean and comfortable, but the corridor was a noisy. Anyway, I recommend it.

| Location is great, a couple blocks north of Town Square and right across the street from the START bus stop. Hot tub was OK, but you may have to walk around the building outside to get there. The bed was bad, hard as a rock. Room small but about right for the money. Desk clerk not very helpful. In this money-class, I've stayed at better but I've stayed at worse.
