| Each and every one of the staff went out of their way to make our stay a memorable one. I booked the stay while on vacation from Afghanistan as a second honeymoon. Once the staff heard it was my wife's birthday and our anniversary, we returned to our room to find a bottle of champagne chilling in an ice bucket. What a nice touch! They even assisted in arranging dinner reservations for a romantic dinner that evening. My wife and I were treated to one of the best experiences ever! The breakfast buffet is out of this world. Especially the Belgian waffles. I've got to get that recipe. Needless to say, we will be visiting again in the Austria Haus in the furture!!!!

| The Austria Haus was a gem. The location in the middle of Vail made it easy to walk everywhere. The Continental breakfast was a great way to start the day as were the small details of making sure there was water to drink in the lobby to stay hydrated.

| Vail is a lovely place to visit in July, and Austria Haus is a great place to stay. The staff hail from around the country and around the world; many are students learning hotel management. We found all of them both friendly and helpful. The morning breakfast buffet was a particularly nice touch, with waffles and cappucinos made to order. The room we were given at first was rather small -- and right next to the elevator -- but staff responded immediately when we requested a change. Parking in the public parking lot across the street is free in the summer, so you can avoid valet parking charges.

| This is a truly excellent hotel with an outstanding location in Vail Village. Their level of customer service is truly first class! The room was excellent, well decorated, and spotless. Our only complaint is that the beds are much too hard for the quality of this hotel. They need to invest in new mattresses.
