| We spent 3 days at the hotel without any air conditioning or any sort of fan it was about 90 degrees in the rooms. Not only where the rooms extremely unkept the beds were really just 5 dollar cots.The only good thing about the hotel really was its location. It was not too far from the main areas of the city.

| The name says it all. It's right in the middle of everything the red light district has to offer. It's a short walk to the Central Station. The rooms are basic: bed, chair, tv...that's about it. Nothing fancy but then you don't come to Amsterdam to spend all your time in the room. The staff is very friendly, knowledgable about the area and they are great helping with directions. This hotel is so close to all the great pubs, cafes and coffeshops. The Bulldog and The Green House are just one block up and over each way. The complimentary breakfast was great too. I didn't expect it to rival those of more expensive hotels but they do a very good job. I will definately stay here again.
