| My wife and arrived early and asked if a room would be available, and the clerk smirked at me, and said they were full from last night. She then told me that check in was at 3 pm and if we were lucky, we could possibly have a room around 2 pm to 2:30. Then she asked if I wanted to check my luggage with the bellcap, and said to take it back down the stairs if I wanted to do so. After my asking why a room couldn't be available before 3pm, she said she would call me. I gave her my cell phone. Needless to say, she never called, and when we came back at 2pm to see if our room was available, which it was, I had had no call from her. Never again, will the Commonwealth get my money. And I even paid extra for their Commonwealth room, what a joke.

| We stayed at the Hotel Commonwealth for two nights (August 2006). Our room was terrific! We were on the 5th floor and had a great view of Fenway Park. The service was excellent and the room had all of the comforts of home. The entrance to the "T" was literally right outside of the main entrance and it is was a very convenient way to travel. We especially enjoyed the hotel's restaurant Great Bay. The food and service were outstanding! We look forward to returning to this hotel on our next trip to Boston.

| A five minute walk to Fenway Park and a window view of the Green Monster-doesn't get much better than this! Heading to a game, it's definitely the place to stay-great neighborhood. This small, boutique hotel has thought of everything to make your stay relaxing and enjoyable. An excellent restaurant/bar is attached with sidewalk dining. Newbury St is just a block away. Excellent hotel and service.

| We went to this hotel blindly, but knew we wanted to be close to Fenway Park. We were very pleasantly surprised and thought the lady who checked us in what AWESOME!!! The concierge seemed to busy to help us when we needed and did not go out of her way to answer questions or return calls. A little loud in the room from the streets but not unbearable... Boston goes to bed late. Loved the workout facility, although no free weights. Good aerobic equipment. Overall we loved our stay and will stay there again for sure.
