Recreation
In addition to offering some of the best downhill skiing and snowboarding on the continent (Big Sky features one of the biggest lift-serviced vertical drops in the United States), there are fantastic cross-country trails in the area and, in summer, the hiking and fishing are superb. As an extra bonus, Yellowstone National Park is only 20 minutes away. Visit in the summer or take advantage of a winter tour to experience the wonders of the park without the warm-weather crowds.

| Condo was very comfortable for a family of five. Big Sky was our base location for five days. From there we were able to easily travel to Yellowstone and Grand Tetons Parks. Condo was good sized and gave us room to spread out, and each of the kids had their own bed. View is spectacular, beds were comfortable, and we had everything we needed in the kitchen. We were there in the summer, and as such the hours for the local stores and shops were limited, so plan accordingly for getting in needed provisions as it is a long drive to the next closest town. Only thing I would criticize was the fact that the dryer in the condo units did not work properly, otherwise it was a truly enjoyable stay.

| As part of the Big Sky Resort complex, Stillwater is an excellent choice--being a condominium, there's room to spread out, a small kitchen to provide an alternative to eating every meal out--while also offering access to the restaurants, shopping, and pool located a minute's walk away in Huntley Lodge. Service was superb--everyone was responsive and friendly--and the resort itself is designed with many touches of the adventure and romance of the Old West.

| This is a privately owned condo with the Resort booking and maintaining it. We had no shower for 2 days because of poor maintenance, and the cupboard doors and television stand cabinet doors were broken, fell apart at previous glued repaired areas. Overall, a bad experience. Hit or Miss, since I saw another unit across the hall and it was in good shape....
