Features
What to expect: No background music disturbs families, couples, and groups who come here for peace and quiet and the comfort of spacious apartment-style suites equipped with cooking facilities. Casual restaurants, lawns fringed by neat hedges, and a large open-air lobby with sitting areas and game tables characterize the relaxed ambience. Amenity highlights: A flat beach of powdery white sand furnished with thatch palapas runs 100 yards wide and 75 yards deep along the resort. Because the resort is located on the north, or bay side of Cancún Island, the sea is usually calm, in contrast to swells rolling from the open Caribbean onto the eastern shore. A large pool and sundeck with palm trees for shade offer alternatives to the beach. Insider tip: The beginning of Cancún Island's shopping, dining, and nightlife center, grouped around the convention center, lies within walking distance, about 0.25 miles (0.5 km) away.

| If your on a budget this is a great place to stay. Cost of entire package was great and I really fell on love with the hotel. It's not as big as the other luxury hotels which was a plus with me. The beach was beautiful, rooms were very clean and the staff was very accomodating. There is a liquor store, Pizza Hut, Kentucky Fried Chicken, and Subway 1 block away from the hotel. I was celebrating my 5th year anniversary with my husband, so it was only the two of us, but if we decide to do the next family vacation with all the kids next year at Cancun, this will defenitely be the place to stay for us.

| We loved the hotel!! Actually it is not a typical hotel. It is like a condo.so We could relax. And it is located in front of the beach. You can go to the beach anytime you want. Also, the room is clean, big and has a kitchen. The location is good. You can go to the shopping area by 5min walking. We recommend this hotel!!!!

| You will not regret staying in this hotel. We stayed in a one bedroom suite because there were four of us-my husband and two children. I was very impressed with our suite. The rooms were fairly large with two balconies- a huge one in the living room and a little smaller one in the bedroom. The suite was neat and clean. We were supplied with an assortment of utensils one might use in a kitchen and a full size fridge to keep the cold drinks flowing in this hot weather. The hotel is a cluster of four buildings only four stories high so it does not have the capacity or the look of a high-rise which was a plus for us. The grounds were attractive and well kept. The beach was clean and the waters calm-no waves. This is a definite plus if you have kids because you don't have to worry about the waves knocking them over and pulling them under. They can actually walk out quite far w/o any problem providing they're tall enough. Hotel is in walking distance of a grocery store, fast food, restaurants, shopping plazas and flea markets. So one does'nt have to eat at the hotel. The only drawbacks I found were these: the beds are little too narrow for 2 people, no tub in the bathroom, and no elevators which can be a problem if you have a lot of luggage, strollers/baby carriages or have difficulty climbing up stairs.

| Cleanest and safest beach in Cancun. Great accommodation options, especially family suites. Food not great but plenty of restaurants nearby. Very quiet.

| I stayed at the Ambiance Villa with my husband and our three children. The hotel itself has a very "home-like" feel. I loved the way the reception and lobby area were set up in an open area and so easily accessible. I loved the fact that the pool and beach were so close to the rooms. The hotel beach itself was amazing. The water is very calm with no waves. However, my teenager stated he would have liked some waves. The hotel is perfect for families with small children. The hotel is not recommended for teenagers on their own looking to party. The sofa bed in the room is not very comfortable and if traveling with children, I would recommend getting an extra bedroom instead of using the sofabed. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Originally we were given a room on the third floor, but due an existing knee problem my husband has (and the fact that there are no elevators), we requested a ground floor room and were immediately accomodated. We have agreed we would definitely stay at the Ambiance Villas in the future.

| We enjoy a lot our stay at Ambiance. It is highly recommended to families, because the environment is absolutely safe, the beach, the swimming pool. Rooms are comfortable, and also beds. The air conditioning system is excellent. Also the hotel location allow you to walk 5 minutes to shopping area. The only thing that we miss was music at the beach area.

| The hotel was perfect for what we were looking for- a clean place, conveniently located. The room was very spacious and the kichen was well stocked. The beach behind the hotel was absolutely beautiful and very clean. I would not recommend the hotel if you are looking for a luxury hotel(the room although nice, did have problems with little bugs and a shortage of full bath linens). It is a good value overall.

| Our stay at the hotel was extremely enjoyable, and if you enjoy calm water then they definately have the best beach spot in Cancun. My only complaint was that it seemed that they were always short on wash cloths.
