| Waitperson at breakfast just assumed we all want ed buffet, when in fact we did not. When we did tell her what we wanted, she looked irritated and then didn't bring what we asked. We ended up getting what we ordered off buffet line and insisted that we only pay for what we got.Very poor service. We ordered coffee and ended up having to get that ourselves out of the set up in the lobby.

| I was very happy with the Courtyard by Marriott Roanoke, except for them only serving breakfast on Friday - Sunday. The food is good, but I was hoping to be able to get room service when I arrived on a Friday night. It was explained to me that there is just not enough traffic to warrant keeping the kitchen open for lunch and dinner on the weekends.

| The hotel was very clean and the staff was helpful and friendly. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds that we have slept in at a hotel. The view from our room was beautiful. We had a very nice experience and plan on staying there again when we pass through in December!

| The only weakness of this hotel was the restaurant, and I say this with a caveat. The breakfast buffet, while it was limited to maybe 15 items, was excellent. The selections for dining may be limited, but the food was excellent. Over all, an excellent hotel that we will stay in time and again.

| The hotel was very well maintained and the rooms were very clean. The service was excellent. The hotel does not offer a continental breakfast, but they have a full breakfast buffet for a reasonable price. I was very comfortable staying here and I would definitely stay again.

| The hotel was clean and attractive and the staff was very courteous. Breakfast was fast and good. However, the mattress was so hard we might as well have slept on the floor (and we usually like firm mattresses!). Stay here if you like to sleep on a really firm mattress.
