What to expect: Guests carrying golf bags and briefcases stroll through the soaring lobby that features Prairie-style cherry woodwork, Tiffany-style lamps, stone floors, and rich hues of maroon, mustard, and olive green. Carpeted areas have overstuffed couches, perfect for relaxing by the stone fireplace flanked with bookshelves, or lounging with a drink from the lobby bar.

An adjoining terrace opens for outdoor dining in warm weather.

Prairie River Cafe - Downstairs from the lobby level is this casual, golf-themed restaurant serving Midwestern cuisine for lunch and dinner daily until midnight, and breakfast on Sundays. Two pool tables, board games, golf course views, and an outdoor deck.

Ogden’s - This lobby bar serves light fare and specialty drinks such as chocolate martinis and French cosmopolitans, made with vodka, Grand Marnier, cranberry juice, and lime.

Hotel is very nice. It's our second time there. Was a little disconcerted to find out that the wi-fi is at a charge. Other than that, great hotel.

Went here for a wedding. Everything was self contained. All the needed facilities for a great wedding. The function areas were comfortable and felt very large. The bartending staff was first rate!! The waiters were kind of pushy and impersonable. Other than that it was a great place to spend a wedding weekend. The gold course was very nice and provoded a place to sneak off to in the night.

My son and I stayed at Eaglewood to preveiew the hotel prior to a scheduled summer family reunion. We found the condition and the amenities at the hotel to be very good, not quite luxurious, but nonetheless very comfortable in all respects. The Standard room was clean, confy and large. The breakfast buffet was excellent, the dinners average. The staff was very friendly and helpful except for the front desk staff, who could not be bothered to consider special requests such as late checkout. If their service had been as friendly and customer-oriented as that of the staff at the spa, the concierge, housekeeping and in the restaurants, our stay would have been much more enjoyable. Good value for the money, however.

The lobby and common areas are lovely and extremely clean. The rooms need some updating and replacement of tile, etc. Could be a 5 star with a moderate expenditure. The room needed a good vacuuming but the bathroom was clean but was "worn". This hotel is very convenient for my husband's Holiday Party so will probably stay again next year. Hope they do some work during the year.

The prairie-style architecture adds unique character to an industry where so much is standard. The concierge was very helpful and was always pleasant! There were a few hairs in the bathroom, but I was able to look past that. Otherwise the hotel and room were clean.

This hotel is beautiful. They do need more help if they are going to continue to provide certain services to guests. Also weekend and night time employees could use a course in courtesy.I was left stranded at the Woodfield Mall after taking the courtesy shuttle from the hotel earlier that afternoon. They have only 1 bus boy and he drives as well as other bus boy type duties. I was told I would be picked up at 6pm. I had to call the hotel, only to be told he had already left. Some 20 minutes later, I called again when the driver still was not there, at that time I was told he just left and would be there shortly.
