| We had problems with our reservations and we continue to 2 weeks later. We booked our reservations through Expedia, however, the Wingate Hotel's computers were down during this time and never recorded our reservations. We showed them our Expedia itinerary, which was already charged to our credit card, the hotel re-booked us and charged us again for the week. They also had us checking out 1 day earlier than we had on our itinerary. After correcting all of this (or so we thought), they have charged my credit card again for the one night they had added. They claim they have free internet but it was down for 1/2 our stay. We just wanted directions to places we wanted to go to and the people who worked there, were new to the area and did not know. We heard that there were several customers that had the same issue (not having reservations because their commputers were down). Their indoor pool is very small. They had an excercise room that looked decent but small in size. Complimentary breakfast was available and decent as you ate at tables in the front lobby. There is no restaurant inside to have lunch or dinner. Route 1 was probably about 20 min away where there are other chain restaurants. Across the street is a Waffle House, Ruby Tuesday's, Burger King, grocery store, drug store and a gas station. Looking for more or somewhere to have a family dinner? Head to Route 1.
