The hotel staff were extremely dedicated and helpful. The casual breakfast was a great way to start the day with our friends, planning our travel and events. The room was very large and comfortable. The mix of guests from around the globe (many are NDU students) made our visit much more memorable.

We had a very nice stay here. We were very pleased with the size of this studio room. It was a short walk to the D.C. metro and was close to a grocery store. We took advatage of the Free Shuttle to the heart of Old Town Alexandria. One warning, the shuttle only runs until 8:30 on the weekends...we could've spent longer downtown. We would recommend this hotel!

What can I say? This was one of the best stays we ever experienced at a hotel! It was conveniently located near the King Street Metro Station, which gave quick and easy access to DC. The hotel itself was well maintained and well run. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the DC area.

I would highly recommend this hotel. Metro stop was a very easy 3 or 4 block walk. Breakfast was great(not your usual continental breakfast). Evening drinks and snacks are an excellent idea, and very well prepared and served. Safe and comfortable neighborhood.

Hotel management & staff extremely helpful and friendly.Facilities all top notch, and well maintained.Refridgerator & microwave in the room was enormously useful with small children.Experienced some small difficulties with the free high-speed internet, which was resolved in minutes, and another minor issue with the a/c not being as cold as we wanted it. Also resolved promptly.Free breakfast & supper were included in our stay, and was a very welcome addition. Meals were of a very fine catered quality.Pool would be a bit small for serious laps, but was entirely adequate for entertaining the kids.DC Metro train access was a convenient two or three block stroll, and was no problem even with a double-stroller.
