This ski-in/ski-out hotel is in the center of Schweitzer Village and offers access to the chairlifts (only a stone’s throw away). Facilities include a large outdoor pool, a fitness room, and three spa tubs with mountain views. Laundry facilities are available for guests. Parking is complimentary, and a limited amount of covered parking is available. Smoking is not permitted in the hotel.

Recreation is what Schweitzer Mountain is all about, and this hotel is situated for exploring the outdoors. In winter, the lodge offers convenient ski-in/ski-out access for skiers and snowboarders alike. In summer or fall, this becomes hike-in/hike-out access, as hiking and walking trails begin right outside the door. Golfing is available at nearby Hidden Lakes; kayaking is offered on Lake Pend Oreille 25 miles away (as are sailing, fishing, and waterskiing); chairlifts run all year for stunning mountain views; and horseback riding, mountain biking, and bird-watching are all easily accessible. The recreational activities listed below are available either on site or near the hotel; fees may apply.

Features
The Chimney Rock Grill - This on-site restaurant is open seasonally. Starting September 4, 2005, it will be open Friday–Saturday only. From October 3, 2005, it will be closed until the winter season (determined by snowfall). The restaurant serves fresh regional cuisine ranging from burgers and steaks to pasta dishes, salads, and seafood.
