| Gorgeous building; great, laid-back neighborhood; perfect walking distance from the city center. We stayed at 3 hotels in Norway (2 in Oslo) and this was our favorite. Not for those who want to be on the busiest block of the city center, but you can get there easily (just a km or two). Neighborhood was so peaceful it was hard to believe we were in a big city and still so close to all the action. Two areas where there was room for improvement: the bathroom layout (no shower curtain meant wet floors after showering), and the 2-person bed was actually 2 single beds pushed together. Still, overall it was the best hotel decision we made during our Norway trip. And EXCELLENT value for the price.

| My family and I stayed in this hotel for one night in July 2006. We were scheduled to stay here for 3 nights but had to change our plans due to unforeseen circumstances. We stayed in two rooms on the fourth floor and they were nice and very clean. There was a reservation problem (not at all the fault of the hotel) and they handled it professionally and graciously. The staff was very courteous and helpful. The complimentary breakfast (buffet) was by far and away one of the better ones we experienced (out of the 12 places we stayed during our five weeks in Europe). The hotel is in a nice, quiet area of Oslo, right around the corner from several foreign embassies and within relatively easy walking distance to Vigeland. I would definitely stay there again.
