I was considering booking with another hotel when expedia offered the Hilton at a discount when booking my flights. It was about the same price, even a little less, so I went with it. Was I glad I did! When I was in Barbados, I decided to see what I may have missed and it wasn't much. The other hotel was somewhat rundown and not even on the beach, the way it had appeared in the description given. The Hilton had a beautiful beach, 2 pools, and although the restaurants in the hotel were okay, the wonderful brown sugar restaurant was only a half a block away. Thank you expedia. .

The accommodations and the level of service we experienced at the Hilton were excellent. The rooms were clean and cozy with a beautiful view. Hotel staff were always friendly and helpful when needed. We had an opportunity to drive around the island and see some of the other hotels. The Hilton was definitely the best choice for our. Nice pools, great beach and superior accommodations are a winning combination. We strongly recommend the Hilton in Barbados and would come back anytime.

I had a great stay at the Barbados Hilton. The staff were very helpful and friendly. It was perfectly located as far as the beach and night life. I enjoyed dinners at "Brown Sugar" at the bottom of the hill before reaching the hilton. The only disappointment that I had was that the ATM machine only took VISA logo debit cards, which cause inconvenient trips to nearby ATMs. Another thing to look out for (but I guess was expected) are the additional service charges on just about every room service or restaraunt order at the hotel: 15% VAT - (each order/purchse) (standard gov tax) 10% Service charge (each order) $1.98 - KIDS US (don't know what that is) $3.96 - BHTA Toruism fund (this either) $5 - room svs delivery fee (expected) Other than that - i had an awesome time and would definitely return!

This was a wonderful week at the Hilton. The service was great. The breakfast buffet was delicious, and was quicker than ordering from the menu. The tour guide was so helpful, she steered us to the good restaurants and tours. The beach was wonderful, and the pool clean and relaxing. An A-1 experience.

The Hilton took our breath away in every aspect. The location, views, accommodation, amenities & primarily the staff were beyond belief and surpassed our expectations. This hotel is focused on 'YOU' and nothing is too much trouble. My partner and I were celebrating an anniversary & wanted a holiday that would tick all the boxes. We are both experienced travellers and have had a mixed bag of experiences in various caribbean locations. This hotel has now set a precedence for all other hotels!! Everything has been designed with 'YOU' in mind. We had the holiday of a lifetime and will definitely be returning there soon. You are close to local restaurants, 10 mins by taxi from the nightlife in St Lawrence Gap & close to Bridgetown the capital. The hotel will arrange for you to go on numerous excursions so you really get a taste for the Island. Must mention the snorkelling & scubadiving - whether you are a newcomer or experienced the instructors at the Hilton are first class and you will not find better in Barbados - trust me!!! If I had to find an area for development this would be the meal packages - it would be a great option to have an all inclusive deal thus mimising your need to carry cash or settle up at the end of the hol. Everyhing else brilliant*****
