  • Visitors to Venice couldn't wish for a more central location—the Marconi stands directly on the Grand Canal's Riva del Vin, a few steps away from the Rialto Bridge, in an area renowned for its Venetian-style inns.
  • In the 1930s, the building housed one of the city's few exclusive hotels. Now, the hotel offers fully renovated, air conditioned guestrooms decorated in true Venetian style. A hot buffet breakfast is served in the pleasant breakfast room. In summer, guests can enjoy the waterfront bar with its superb view of the Rialto Bridge.
  • The area surrounding the hotel has been the commercial center of the city since the 11th century. Today, you can find a bustling market here, as well as a shopping center.

The Hotel is in a great location. It is probably 100 ft from the Rialto Bridge. The room itself was the worst one during our stay in Italy. The walls were paper thin. You get up in the morning when everyone else does. I could hear the people in the next room moving hangars in their closet. The bed was very uncomfortable. The only reason to stay their was the location.

There is no doubt that the hotel is in a prime location next to the Grand Canal. We used the "free service" shuttle to go to Murano island. The staff neglected to tell us that the water buses were not running that day to return. The room is a typical European style hotel, but was fairly comfortable and the breakfast was a welcome addition.

Great location right on the Grand Canal and next to the Realto Bridge and within easy walking distance to everything. Yet the rooms are on the side so you don't get the noise. Room was very comfortable and clean. The staff was very obliging and friendly. Helped with all diner and transportation reservations. One of the best Hotels we stayed at in Italy.

The hotel is located near the Rialto Bridge and is therefore, easy to find initially, and in Venice, easy to get back to. We actually spent very little time inside the hotel but it is a charming small European style hotel with a great breakfast. The location is unbeatable. We would definitely stay there again.

Excellent hotel ~100 yards from the Rialto Bridge. Very helpful staff provided local restaurant recommendations, transportation advice and booked us tickets to a musical performance at a discount.

One of the receptionists was acting like our personal travel guide. Giving us advice about places to eat and what to see. He had suggestions for all kinds of weather. He had even printed out the weather forcast for the next three days. The other receptionists were also very helpfull.

Located within about 50 feet of Rialto bridge right on Grand Canal, Hotel Marconi has comfortable rooms that, based upon my European travels, is similar sized to average rooms in Paris, Madrid, London, etc. Hotel was clean. Staff extremely courteous and willing to help out with anything - reservations, tours, rail service, airline questions. Breakfast was also quite good and was typical for European hotel standards. Only negative was that walls could be a little better sound proofed. Overall a good experience and I would stay again.

This hotel was great. The room was wonderful and very spacious. The bed for us was not too hard and the bathroom had a nice bath tub. This hotel is right on the canal and close to the shopping and resturants. The breakfast has a broad variety. I found something great every day. This was a great hotel.
