| I reserved a room for two people not really knowing what I was going to get or what the hotel was really like. It turned out to be a great place to stay. Our room overlooked the valley and the monastary! It was only a short walk from the Alcazar and to Plaza Mayor. A little bit longer to the aquaduct but doable. For those without a car I recomend taking a taxi to the hotel as it is a bit of a hike from the bus/train station and the streets are very narrow and hard to navigate at first. The hotel staff were courteous and helpful. They gave us a ride to the bus station when we left because the phoneline to the taxi company was busy. There are noisy pipes in this hotel so that may be a drawback to some people. Otherwise, the room condition and of the entire hotel was well kept and clean. It was a great place to stay for the value!
