| The Sugar Mill is a small romantic hotel for a few special people. The perfect place to relax and enjoy the beautiful BVI. Built around the restored ruins of a 370 year old sugar mill and rum distillery/ the Sugar Mill combines Caribbean history with 21st century luxury. Conde Nast Travelers Readers Poll voted the Sugar Mill as One of the Top Ten Hotels in the Caribbean two years in a row/November 2003 and November 2004. The white sand beach has an interesting snorkeling reef which protects the area and makes it a comfortable place to swim. When guests come to the quiet and uspoiled north shore of Tortola they find pearl-colored beaches, crystal water, lazy sunny days, snorkeling, sailing and surfing. Guests can choose between a freshwater pool or a sandy saltwater beach at the Sugar Mill.
