| We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at L'Hoste. The continental breakfast was excellent with the freshest fruit we have had anywhere. Also available were cereals, juices and a variety of breads. For a very nominal fee we could have egss and bacon or sausage. For lunch, La Playa was superb and we ate there frequently while at the beach. The hotel was just a short walk from the village which included a mini-market and several restaurants including the famous Tap 5 pizza restaurant. Our room was very clean and the office staff was exceptionally helpful in all cases but especially when we needed to find a doctor. You cannot go wrong at L'Hoste.

| L'Hoste is a nice comfortable hotel steps from Orient Beach. Great friendly staff. Not a big resort feel, but more of a small village atmosphere. The grounds have that carribean feel with shady palms and pastel paints. Very relaxing.

| I booked this hotel because I wanted a small hotel with ocean view and some of their rooms are advertised with ocean view. Beware there is NO ocean view. They are directly at the beach though. The hotel is nice and clean. Beware there are no washcloths or shower curtains and the electricity runs on 220. While the personnel is mostly excellent, they have there bad days also. I had a male clerk when I checked in. It turned out that my room was upstairs and no help was offered to get my suitcase up the stairs.

| Very helpful and friendly staff. Nice hotel. Great location. Beautiful gardens. Can't wait to stay there again in Aug. if they have a nice special deal, because it is the low season and many of the hotels have summer "low season" special rates.

| Overall experience was very good. We were escorted to our room by the manager, upon which she explained everything about the hotel and the room. The room was large and comfortable. The continental breakfast, by the pool, was very good and the only place I found where you could get a "real" cup of coffee. I found the staff to be very accommodating and friendly, although typically Carribean laid-back. They arranged for our transportation, helped with advise on sight-seeing and provided wake-up service the morning we were checking out which included knocking on our door to make sure we had got up.

| I just returned from St Martin last week. The rooms are large and clean. If you are looking for a luxury hotel, this is not for you. It's very simple and clean and the location is great. The staff was very friendly and helpful with restaurants and taxis. I'm looking forward to returning next year.
