| Well, I'm PuertoRican so language was not a barrier, but expecting a good service definetly was. Most of the staff were not friendly at all. We waited 3 hours in the hotel lobby in order to get our room! But on the bright side, the food was very good in all restaurants, we went scuba diving, ran 4-tracks, went horse-backriding, and had our picture taken by an Argentinian photographer. (Be sure to ask for Isaias)Overall we had a good time,

| I would recommend this place for the young that want to party. If you are concerned that your room is nicely kept and that you want "white glove" service, this place is not for you. The food and drinks are good.

| I booked a room at the Barcelo Bavaro Casino Hotel through Expedia, however, my room was actually booked in the Barcelo Bavaro Caribe Hotel. No complaints with that b/c that was an upgrade - I wound up right on the beach. All in all, no complaints. There are 5 hotels on the grounds, that are all-inclusive that you can bounce to. The food was good, the beaches, pools, activities, grounds and scenery were all great. The Beach Hotel has a steakhouse restaurant that was phenominal - really good american food (steak, chicken, french fries, etc.). The staff service at the hotels was mediocre. You definitely need to know some Spanish to go there. My only real complaint was that my bathroom was infested with COCKROACHES!!!

| The customer service we received from the hotel staff including the bartenders and waiters was by far the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Punta Cana is a beautiful place to visit but I would NOT recommend this resort as a place to stay.

| Stayed at this hotel with 5 female friends, and had it not been for making the best out of a bad situation, I would have gone to another establishment! The staff was rude, slow, unprofessional, did not speak any English, and still expected to be tipped (in US currency only). The grounds were well kept, the casino was alright, and the rooms had all of the necessary items but they weren't very modern-looking. I think I've done all I can do at the D. R. I won't be returning.

| The hotel was beautiful. You get to experience all the conveniences of all four hotels. When we checked in, there was a bit of a mix up with which hotel we were staying at. We originally thought that we were staying at the Bavaro Casino, but ended up staying at the Golf. It was a pretty good trade off because we ended up getting a suite! The food was not the best we've had. We did like the fact that there were lots of restaurants to choose from. Most of the servers didn't really care about serving you. Sometimes it took them a few minutes to even greet you. The service was not top notch, but hey, you get what you pay for! The beach was absolutely amazing. If anything, all your hotel or food worries go away as soon as you see the amazing view of the beach!!!
