| You may have seen it in other reviews, but this hotel is extremely nice and modern, but the room I was in (a single) was tiny. The "suites" looked more normal sized (U.S. standard hotel room size) from the glimpses I got in passing. The major downer in the suites seems to be the lack of queen beds. They simply push together two of the singles. If you are over 6' 2" (1 meter) you will probably find the beds too small. All that said, the location is PRIME, the design is hip, the breakfast on the 6th floor is nice and the rooms despite their size are very nice. There is a newly renovated hotel a couple of blocks south of the main square called "27" (or "twentyseven") that a friend was staying at that was half the price, verging on as nice and was only missing the sheik aspect of being *right* on the town hall square. If money matters, go there and insist on being in a renovated room (they seem to be about 75% done redoing things). Otherwise, with the proper expectations The Square is a nice choice, if not pricey.

| The front desk was rude and inappropriate. I was told that I would have a "garden view" and instead my room overlooked the airconditioning system, a parking lot and a brick wall. The front desk clerk claimed that no other rooms were available and this was my only choice. I later tried a different clerk who put me in a room with a better view, but there was a horrible stench in the room. The AC was not funcitonal and we were told that it never works when it is hot???? The clerk also admonished me for moving the furniture in the lobby so that I could sit with my friends. Would not recommend this hotel due to horrible service.

| Small, adequate and comfortable room. Good location - near shopping, sight seeing, transportation. Easy access to all venues. Clean lines, scandinavian design - contemporary room. Wooden floors, which is a nice change. Pricey, but most of scandinavia is expensive to visit. Includes morning breakfast buffet; wonderful breads and pastries, cheeses, cereals, fruits, eggs, meats. Breakfast buffet might justify some of the higher cost for hotel room. The reception area is small and not air conditioned (at least it wasn't during our July stay) and people are allowed to smoke there. It is not pleasant to sit and relax downstairs if there are people smoking as the air does not circulate. Otherwise, the reception staff are young, friendly and helpful. Everyone speaks English.

| This was a great hotel. A little unpreposessing on the outside, and hard to find despite its very central location (the square it is on is confusing to navigate), but wonderful breakfast and a nice quiet, clean and comfortable room. It is used a lot by tour groups and gets crowded and the desk staff, while very animated, usually in a friendly and charming way, can get a bit harried and brusque when busy with lines at checkout. The concierge was excellent, however. I would definitely come back and recommend it to anyone staying in Copenhagen.

| We definitely enjoyed this hotel. The location was excellent right at Tivoli Square and the rooms were very nice and clean. The rooms have a unique, modern style. The rooms all have access to high speed internet (bring your own network cable) or you can access wirelessly in the lobby. Breakfast was provided, it was good, but somewhat limited compared to other hotels.

| The Square Hotel is fairly new and located in the center of Copenhagen where one can walk the Stroget, visit Tivoli, catch a bus to anywhere, go to Nyhaven all in a very short time. My single room, while small but very accomodating, had a view right on the Radplazen -- very nice. The breakfast in the morning on the 6th floor was absolutely top notch.
