    Le Meridien Chia Laguna Amenities
    Guests can relax and rejuvenate in this private beach resort on the sandy shores of the Bay of Chia. The hotel has three outdoor swimming pools where guests can soak up the sun on a terrace by the poolside or enjoy a cool drink from one of the four bars. The onsite gymnasium offers a range of aerobics classes as well as state of the art fitness equipment. After a work out guests can wind down in the sauna and steam room, take a dip in the spa tub or indulge in a beauty treatment. A complimentary mini-train service provides easy accessibility for guests to get to the private stretch of sandy beach 700 metres away from the resort. Guests are entertained in the main piazza in the evenings where home made ice cream and original speciality cocktails are served. The resort is also capable of hosting conferences for up to 1200 people in the large congress centre fully equipped with modern audio visual equipment. Other amenities include free parking, onsite shopping, and a 24-hour front desk.

    Guests can enjoy access to four onsite tennis courts, five-a-side football pitches and The hotel’s private sandy beach offers plenty of opportunities for sea swimming, fishing and water sports including jet skiing, scuba diving, snorkelling and wind surfing; for those who prefer to stay on dry land there beach volleyball is an option. Bicycles can be hired for guests to cycle around the resort. There is also a practice golf course and driving range as well as a mini-golf course.

    Le Meridien Chia Laguna is smart and well run hotel in a fantastic location. Set in it's own resort style location, the views from the main hotel across the lagoon to the sea are quite spectacular. The room we had was nice, airy, bright and clean with a great large terrace with sea views. The staff in this hotel were great, very friendly and helpful. The location is close to the beach, a 10 minute walk or using the hotels free 'land train' service. Beach also very pretty, though not the best we went to in Sardinia. On the negative side, when we went in mid-May, many of the advertised activities were not available and many of the shops and restaurants were still closed as we were told it was not full season yet. Strange in May? The food was adequate and not fantastic, but maybe what you'd expect from a buffet style service. We would have preferred the choice of a proper restaurant too. I think that is availble in high season. Overall a great location and good quality hotel. We would stay again.
