| Hotel AC Valencia is a very nice moderately priced hotel located on the Avenida de Francia near the magnificent City of Arts and Sciences. Great shopping is available in the immediate area including an enormous El Corte Inglés department store which has a food market in the basement and the impressive Aqua Multiespacio shopping center which includes a variety of restaurants and a multi-screen move theater. The hotel is located within a short cab or bus ride to both central Valencia and the Port America's Cup. Underground parking is offered by the hotel at an additional cost, but street parking is readily available. There is no bellman to assist with luggage. Wireless internet access is available in the lobby and guest rooms for an additional charge. Complimentary refreshments including coffee, soda, water and pastries are provided in the lobby most of the time. The in-room minibar stocked with water, soda, beer and wine is also complimentary. The fitness room includes showers, sauna and a stationary bicycle which was not working at the time. The adjacent sun deck is just large enough for two lounge chairs and provides a pleasant outdoor escape. Our guest room was somewhat small but very clean and comfortable.
