| Great little motel, built in the 50's. Nice people at the desk, clean, very basic rooms and across the street from the beach. You can park your car and walk everywhere - Starbucks, restaurants, local watering holes, wonderful antique shops, consignment stores, etc. If you want to enjoy the surf and sand, this is affordable and convenient. Also, free continental breakfast in the morning.

| For the $ the hotel was perfect for our need...Staff was very friendly, informative, competent and courteous...The room was comfortable...the only drawback was that there was no 'ocean' view, but just a few steps and you are on the beach. Adjacent to the hotel is an Armenian/Greek restaurant that we recommend highly for dinner and breakfast! We missed the entertainment evening, but I am sure it is lively!

| Great location, close to the beach and walking distance to Carlsbad resturants and shops. Rooms were clean, but dated, and parking was tight.
