| We were very pleased after staying at this hotel. The service we received was good and the room was quite large. The breakfast, which was included through booking with Expedia, was wonderful. By far the largest, freshest and best we've had in our many travels in Europe. The hotel is located a few minutes from the airport and transportation to Amsterdam city is very easy and cheap, about 20 minutes in total. The hotel offers a free shuttle to the airport, once at the airport, hop on the train which takes you to the Central Station in Amsterdam. We would definitely stay here again as the cost was a fraction of the hotels within the city center.

| this is a great place to stay if all you want is a clean, comfortable room and a great breakfast. however, if you want to be in the thick of things in amsterdam, you've gone in the wrong direction. this hotel is about 15 minutes away from the airport in the opposite direction of the city. there is NOTHING around the hotel for miles... literally on a highway in the middle of a field!

| We chose this hotel initially for two nights because everything in Central Amsterdam was booked. We ended up extending our stay to six nights as a result of our satisfaction. Getting into Amsterdam from the hoterl requires a shuttle (free) and then a short train ride, we did not find this to be an inconvenience. The hotel staff was amazing! Thanks Beata! The rooms were incredibly comfortable and the hotel restauran was excellent as well. We would definitely stay here again.

| Full size free shuttle bus (Schiphol A4) runs every 40 min (15 min each way + 5 min load & unload. Extensive breakfast included in price. We stayed for one night prior to a cruise out of Amsterdam. Got in room at 7:30 AM after flight. Train from Schiphol to Amsterdam Central about 7 miles, 3.60 euro. Full bar and restaurant plus other lunch & dinner available within walking distance.

| Quiet and good atmosphere hotel with reasonable price. So good for relaxation. Hopefully, a refrigerator in a room and more vegetables at breakfast are expected for satisfying service.

| Hotel Schiphol A4 is a very popular hotel near to the airport. People come and go whole day long. They have a very nice scheduled free bus service to the airport and from there train access to downtown Amsterdam. The location of hotel is somewhat inconvenient for driving, because there is no direct exit from the A4 freeway. It is located at a service complex between exit 3&4 on the east side of the road. This means that when you drive, you need to go to exit #4 and come up on the north bound to get to it. This is the only problem I found. The parking is free and safe, the breakfast is nice and well stocked; they have restaurants and a bar, internet café and other amenities. Due to the intense traffic of people the condition of carpeting is somewhat worn, but kept nice clean all the time. I found it remarkable that taxi drivers do not know of this hotel unless you describe its location as north bound on A4 between exit 3&4. I can recommend this hotel to people of modest means.

| Positive: 1)Free shuttle from airport 2)clean room 3)nice free buffet 4)have several fast food location within walking distance 5)indoor heated pool. Negative: 1)5 euro for 15 min of internet 2)we made it home a few days before our postcards we sent at the front desk 3)The last free pick for the shuttle is 11:40 at the airport. After that you have to pay 21 euro per person or 33 euro for a taxi back to the hotel. Add that with a 6 euro train ticket to get into Amsterdam that can add up if your are on a budget. This hotel will work for the travelers who either don't mind spending $ for taxi or don't stay out late, or are the type that once you leave for the day you don't need to stop back to the hotel to rest/drop off things you purchased.

| The hotel was in a good location not far from the airport. Free shuttle bus to and from A11 Stand. The room was clean. The room needs to be update and the curtain would not close all the way to make the room darker. The staff of the hotel where very friendly. It's a good hotel for an overnight (transit)...
